FM:Systems partnered with independent market research firm to survey of 750 U.S. business leaders in HR, finance, facilities, and real estate. All respondents work for organizations that have 200 or more employees and maintain at least one physical workplace that is used by employees at least one day per week. This survey also included 1,000 U.S.-based employees.
The long tail of the pandemic continued into 2023, with organizations still dealing with the ripple effects of economic upheaval and the shift to remote working. As we turn the page to 2024, however, there are signs of stabilization in both areas. The new normal may finally be upon us, but what exactly does that look like?
In this survey, we also asked them how they feel about hybrid work, how they’re utilizing their physical office space and what workplace and real estate challenges and opportunities are top of mind over the next few years.
