FM:Systems Hires Mark Guthrie as VP of Government to Deliver Workplace Management Capabilities to Growing Public Sector Customer-Base

RALEIGH, N.C., DEC. 15, 2020  — FM:Systems, provider of global workplace management technology solutions, today announced it has hired Mark Guthrie to serve as the company’s vice president of government. Guthrie brings decades of experience across the IT industry with success spanning Fortune 500 organizations and public sectors, including global defense and intelligence, civilian, state and local, and education domains. As a respected leader in the government sector, he will oversee FM:Systems’ growing facility management for government team and strategies.

Prior to joining FM:Systems, Guthrie was principal for ITA Group where he advised organizations how to drive measurable business growth and loyalty through custom crafted engagements to serve employees, partners and customers. He also previously held the position of vice president for North America for Kony, Inc. In this role, Guthrie was responsible for delivering revenue growth for SaaS No/Low Code Application Development Platform, including all business enablers from new profitable customer and partner creation to organizational development and KPI’s for growth industry markets including retail, energy, manufacturing, healthcare, and public sector. Additionally, during his tenure as vice president for Lexmark Government Solutions, he helped develop and lead revenue generation strategies for secure mission-focused solutions and services contributing more than $500M, enabling the government to save $2.8B.

 

Mark holds a bachelor of science in marketing and economics, from the University of Maryland. He also completed executive MBA programs by the University of Michigan and Oxford University and holds a joint patent.
